Dr. Marsha Cashwell

 Dr. Cashwell graduated from the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. She practiced at hospitals in Jacksonville, Florida, and Fayetteville, North Carolina, before returning to practice near her home town of Hurtsboro. In 1983, Dr Cashwell opened Central Animal Hospital on Old Opelika Road. In 1991, the practice was renamed and moved to our present location in Phenix City, AL. The facility earned Dr. Cashwell an Honorable Mention for Hospital Design in a nationwide competition. In 2016 Dr. Cashwell was selected as a member of the board at Auburn University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Cashwell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association (ALVMA), the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), the Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics, the Chattahoochee Valley Veterinary Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and is Fear Free Certified Level 2.

When she's not working Dr. Cashwell enjoys riding horses, working with her dogs, and sailing or camping with her husband Jim. They have a son (a graduate of Auburn and CSU) who is currently enjoying working in the family business, and daughter (graduate at Florida State University and The University of Texas at Austin).

Dr. Andrew Milenkovitch

Dr. Andrew Milenkovitch received his B.A. from St. John's College and he graduated from the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2012. He joined the Companion Animal Hospital team in March 2020.

Dr. Milenkovitch is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association (ALVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), The Chattahoochee Valley Veterinary Association and is Fear Free Certified.

Dr. Milenkovitch, his wife Kirsten, teenage children Ava and Patrick enjoy being outdoors. Snow skiing, camping and white-water rafting are family favorites.
